Sea Salt Butterscotch Pretzel Cookies
This is one of those recipes that nicely wrapped up a bunch of half-used ingredients in my pantry stockpile. I had extra butterscotch chips from my Compost Cake, half a bag of chocolate chips from various endeavors (always have chocolate chips on hand, folks!), a box of Maldon Sea Salt from Salted Chocolate Chunk Shortbread Cookies, and some pretzels that we’ve been snacking on! Sometimes the internet is a beautiful thing to optimize for my pantry.
I liked this recipe because it was one-bowl and incredibly easy. The extra “oomph'“ was invested in browning the butter which added depth and richness. Great option for a cookie swap or clearing out your pantry!
