Becca Bakes: New and Improved
It's incredible how much I've learned in the time since I started Becca Bakes. It's been a whirlwind of adventures and exciting opportunities, but mainly I've found that everything worthwhile takes patience and determination. This past year, I've experimented with and developed countless recipes. I've found out what kind of a baker I am and how I operate in the kitchen. I've uncovered a personal writing style and grown infinitely closer to my community. I've scrolled endlessly through blogs, stayed informed on food news, and run my fingers over the glossy pages of many cookbooks. I've used this time to grow, to adapt, and learn from mistakes. My first logo was made in Microsoft Paint and my first blog platform was a Tumblr; however, I couldn't be happier things started out this way. I couldn't have known this site would be exactly what I wanted a year ago. Now, I am finally taking this next step to have my blog and business accurately reflect who I am and what I do.
